Session Overview

Welcome to our session Level Up Your Learning Materials: Strategies for Engaging Students with Interactive Elements!

In this hands-on session, we’ll showcase different ways of adding interaction to your learning materials, including: H5P, interactive lecture quizzes, HTML drop-downs, and embedded forms. See real student feedback, explore implementation strategies, and leave with ready-to-use ideas for your own courses.

This session provides practical examples that address Quality Matters standards:

4.1 (The instructional materials contribute to the achievement of the stated learning objectives)
4.5 (A variety of instructional materials is used in the course)
5.2 (Learning activities provide opportunities for interactions that support active learning)

Learning objectives:

Examine student feedback that demonstrates the effectiveness of interactive learning materials.
Experiment with different tools for creating interactive materials.
Identify at least one type of interactive material that can be utilized in your online course.
