Identify Situational Factors
John Fink's model primarily focuses on internal course design elements. However, he also encourages mindfulness of external situational factors such as the unique characteristics of the students, the institutional context, and other relevant factors. In doing so, instructors can better tailor their courses to create a more effective and responsive learning environment.
