As you watch the video, think as well about how you could incorporate short videos into your classes, both the online class and the face to face ones. Students today often reach for videos when they are learning something new; videos can be helpful for international students, or any student who may have trouble with verbal lectures. Videos can also provide a source of review for difficult concepts you may cover in class.

- ASCD Webinars: ASCD provides a free webinar series that “brings experts in the field of education to a screen near you.” Their webinars address timely and relevant topics like student engagement, classroom technology, and instructional strategies. The free webinars (membership not required, though registration is) include such topics as rethinking homework, teaching so students remember, flipped classroom, giving feedback to students, cultivating curiosity in the classroom, among many others. Many topics may not be relevant to your specific classes, and some are directed toward secondary education, but there are many that are likely applicable and could be helpful for anybody interested in enhancing their teaching.
