Objectives

Equip students with foundational skills in VR interaction and visual scripting using Unreal Engine. The labs introduce key locomotion and manipulation mechanics (teleportation and grabbing) and establish a strong understanding of Blueprints for game logic creation.

Activities

By completing these labs, students will:

Perform teleportation and object manipulation in VR using the default Unreal VR template.
Set up grabbable objects with realistic physics and collision behavior.
Understand and apply Blueprints to design interactive gameplay elements.
Navigate the Blueprint editor and create event-driven logic using visual scripting.
Differentiate between data flow and execution flow, and build modular logic blocks within Unreal.
