Drawing from her personal experiences and observations, Namu will shed light on the ever-evolving landscape of traffic engineering in this presentation, including the current hurdles the industry faces, along with innovative strategies to overcome them. The presentation will also explore exciting prospects and the role of technology in enhancing transportation systems.

Speaker Bio

Namu Timilsina is an alumnus of the Transportation Engineering graduate program at OSU. She joined OSU as a graduate student from Nepal, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. Her MS research focused on the assessment of the COVID-19 pandemic on the motorcycle crash injury severity in Washington State. She graduated in June 2023 and works as a Traffic Engineer at PBS Engineering and Environmental Inc. in Vancouver, Washington.
