OSU's Academic Technology Learning Platform Services

Learn@OregonState is an ecosystem of interoperable web-based tools, including Canvas, Gradescope, Kaltura, Top Hat, Turnitin, and publisher tools, which instructors and learners can use to achieve their learning objectives.

The Learn@OregonState website provides documentation for instructors on these tech tools, which are integrated with Canvas and supported by the Learning Platform Services team:

OSU Center for Teaching and Learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning's goal is to support effective and efficient teaching and create and sustain a culture of teaching excellence. Ranging from evidence-based practices for course design and assessment to the theoretical basis of learning, CTL's programs target key pedagogical practices via a variety of formats and modalities. 
  • Core Resources: find resources on each of CTL's core areas of support, distilled from research across a variety of disciplines
  • Teaching Talks: a series of teaching workshops that support the development of knowledge and skills related to instruction, assessment, and curriculum.
  • Blended Learning: resources on blending the online and face-to-face components of your course
  • Sparkshops: 15 or 30-minute workshops on an evidence-based instructional practice
  • Inclusive Teaching: get help with developing inclusive teaching skills

OSU Faculty Media Center

The Faculty Media Center (FMC) supports the creation and delivery of instructional media to enrich teaching and learning. Located in Kidder Hall 100, the FMC provides consulting services, technology support, and simple DIY recording studios for instructors using media to achieve their learning objectives.
