Discussions and Groups

For large courses, you may want to break up the class into smaller groups for more manageable discussions. To achieve this in Canvas, you must first create student Groups in Canvas. It is easiest to create these groups randomly. Additionally, since groups are static after they have been formed, it is best to wait until after the add/drop date for the term has passed before creating your groups.
